Max Stocks is seeking a Customer Service Officer for Cairns, combining customer service, data entry and general administration to ensure orders are received and processed accurately. You will collaborate with warehouse, sales and finance teams in a friendly, supportive Customer Service Team.

The role focuses on accurate data entry, order processing via phone, email and web-store, and maintaining clear documentation while upholding high service standards.

Competenze

• Prior experience providing administration and/or customer service support in a similar environment.
• Proficiency with technology, particularly Microsoft Office and database software/programs.
• Outstanding attention to detail, care for accuracy, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

About the Role

Max Stocks is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Customer Service Officer to join our Cairns team! This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, typically from 9:30am to 5:30pm. Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, this position combines customer service, data entry and general administration, to ensure Max Stocks’ customers know just how important they are to us, and their orders are received and processed accurately and efficiently. You will work closely alongside our warehouse, sales and finance teams, within our hard-working but friendly and supportive Customer Service Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing of customer orders via phone, email and web-store.
• Accurate and efficient data entry into our software systems.
• Compiling and distributing documentation including picking slips, substitutions/unavailable stock, invoices and credits.
• Effective communication, support and problem-solving within Customer Service and with other departments.

Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications

• Prior experience providing administration and/or customer service support in a similar (warehouse/logistics/distribution) environment.
• Proficiency with technology, particularly Microsoft Office and database software/programs (though training will be provided).
• Outstanding attention to detail, care for accuracy, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work under time-constraints, in a fast-paced environment.
• A willingness to learn and expand your knowledge.
