Job summary

Max Stocks Food Service in Cairns is seeking a friendly and experienced Customer Service Officer to join our Cairns team. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, typically 9:30am to 5:30pm, reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader.

You will handle customer orders via phone, email and web-store, and support data entry and administration to ensure accurate and timely processing. You will collaborate with warehouse, sales and finance teams, bringing high attention to detail, strong

Qualifications

• Prior experience providing administration and/or customer service support in a similar (warehouse/logistics/distribution) environment.
• Proficiency with technology, particularly Microsoft Office and database software/programs (though training will be provided).
• Outstanding attention to detail, care for accuracy, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work under time-constraints, in a fast-paced environment.
• A willingness to learn and expand your knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing of customer orders via phone, email and web-store.
• Accurate and efficient data entry into our software systems.
• Compiling and distributing documentation including picking slips, substitutions/unavailable stock, invoices and credits.
• Effective communication, support and problem-solving within Customer Service and with other departments.
