Job summary

SGAC in Sydney is seeking a highly organised Member Events & Merchandise Coordinator to enhance member experiences through engaging events, effective communications and well-executed retail initiatives. You will work with operation teams, suppliers and event stakeholders to coordinate retail activities, venue events and merchandise stock levels, supporting retail revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is essential.
• Promotion execution and stock control experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Event coordination and planning abilities.
• Experience in retail merchandising and member engagement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and delivery of events held at the venue, including GNSW, IPSHA and AHIGS events.
• Liaise with event organisers, operational teams and catering providers to coordinate event requirements.
• Manage event schedules, logistics and event documentation.
• Coordinate and execute retail promotions and merchandising initiatives.
• Maximise retail space through displays, product placement and promotional activity.
• Monitor sales performance, stock levels and promotional outcomes.
• Prepare communications regarding centre updates, competitions, operational changes and important announcements.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory and event records.
• Prepare reports that support financial monitoring and operational planning.
