Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Sydney to lead end-to-end service for life-changing medical devices across Australia and APAC. You will install, maintain and troubleshoot equipment, while building strong relationships with hospitals and distributors.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in field service for medical devices, excellent communication, and a readiness to travel frequently within AU and APAC. A proactive, independent work style is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years field service experience in medical devices or hospital equipment.
• Hands-on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong communication with hospitals, distributors and internal teams.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently in a startup environment.
• Willingness to travel across Australia and APAC; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end field service across Australia and APAC.
• Provide trusted technical support to hospitals, distributors and internal teams.
• Plan and execute service visits with parts, tools and documentation.
• Maintain accurate service records including equipment history and spares.
• Champion quality and compliance with medical device standards and SOPs.
• Build the future of APAC service operations through process improvement.
• Support service agreements including quotations and renewals.
