Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support the seamless process of medical employment across its campuses in Melbourne’s rapidly growing northern region. The role sits within the Northern Doctors Workforce team and involves workforce planning, PMCV match participation, and coordinating JMS recruitment, credentialing, contracting and onboarding.

The successful candidate will bring strong communication skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to liaise confidently

Qualifications

• Proven willingness to learn and adapt to a new environment and understand medical recruitment processes.
• High level of communication skills and a sense of customer service.
• Ability to liaise and work in a calm, clear and concise manner with medical staff and respond to enquiries in a timely manner.
• Ability to confidently and professionally liaise with JMS.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills across a broad range of internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate medical workforce planning in conjunction with Divisional Directors and Heads of Unit.
• Participate in PMCV match processes.
• Lead recruitment and selection of appointments outside PMCV/Training College processes with HOU and supervisors of training, including IMG recruitment.
• Coordinate JMS recruitment, credentialing, contracting and onboarding.
• Arrange employment contracting of casual and secondment arrangements.
