Job summary

Kanwal Village Medical Centre on the Central Coast NSW is seeking an experienced medical receptionist for a casual position (~15 hours/week across 3 shifts, includes Saturday mornings). Police checks may be required.

The role includes appointment handling, email/fax correspondence, payment processing, and Medicare/DVA batching in a busy general practice. Ideal candidates will have General Practice experience, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a collaborative team

Kanwal Village Medical Centre is looking for a medical receptionist to join our busy practice for a casual position, approx 15 hours a week. General Practice experience is essential.

Medical Receptionist

We are looking for an experienced medical receptionist to join our friendly and busy team. This position is for approximately 15 hours a week- over 3 shifts including Saturday mornings as well as covering shifts when needed. Applicants may be asked to provide a police check.

Duties include:

• Making appointments
• receiving & sending emails/faxes
• Receiving & chasing payments via cash, Eftpos, Hot Docs (we are a private billing practice)
• Medicare & DVA batching and claiming
• General cleaning of practice
• Opening & closing of the practice

Our ideal candidate will possess:
