Job summary

Kanwal Village Medical Centre – Hamlyn Terrace NSW is seeking an experienced medical receptionist to join a friendly and busy team. The role is approximately 15 hours per week across 3 shifts, including Saturday mornings, with potential cover shifts. Applicants may be asked to provide a police check.

The ideal candidate will have General Practice experience, excellent communication, and be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Make appointments.
• Receive & send emails/faxes.
• Receive and chase payments via cash, EFTPOS, and Hot Docs (private billing).
• Medicare & DVA batching and claiming.
• General cleaning of practice.
• Opening & closing of the practice.
