Job summary

Lumus Imaging in Toowoomba is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Medical Receptionist. Clinic hours are 8.30am - 5pm, rostered Mon–Fri.

The role centers on delivering exceptional reception services for patients attending medical imaging appointments and acting as the first point of contact for clinicians and patients. Ideal candidates will have prior medical reception or radiology experience, with strong communication skills and comfort using various clinical software.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical reception and admin or radiology preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate diverse software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide reception services and be the first point of contact for patients and practitioners.
• Make exam bookings and MRI bookings.
• Conduct general clerical duties and patient record management.
• Assist with Medicare billing and banking tasks.

As a Medical Receptionist you will play an essential role in the experience our patients have when they visit our clinic for medical imaging appointments. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be providing reception services and acting as the first point of contact for patients and practitioners. This role is ideal for someone who has previous experience working with people both face to face and over the phone as well as being able to navigate various technology and systems.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous medical reception and admin or previous radiology experience.
