Job summary

Lumus Imaging welcomes applications for a friendly receptionist to join our busy Liverpool imaging clinic. You will be the first point of contact for patients, helping with check-in, scheduling and queries, ensuring a welcoming and efficient patient experience.

This permanent full-time role offers early to late shifts across a 6:00am–10:00pm operating window, Monday to Friday, with structured training and clear career pathways within our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in reception or customer service.
• Medical or radiology experience is a bonus, but not essential.
• Great communication skills and a genuine team-player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and managing arrivals with warmth and efficiency.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments across multiple imaging modalities.
• Processing Medicare, DVA and private billing accurately.
• Handling phone and email enquiries from patients and referrers.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting smooth clinic flow.
• Working closely with clinical staff to keep the day running seamlessly.

About the role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll set the tone for their entire visit.

This role requires flexibility to work across our operating hours, which run from 6:00am to 10:00pm, Monday to Friday, on a rotating roster.

Your day will include:

• Welcoming patients and managing arrivals with warmth and efficiency
• Scheduling and confirming appointments across multiple imaging modalities
• Processing Medicare, DVA and private billing accurately
• Handling phone and email enquiries from patients and referrers
• Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting smooth clinic flow
• Working closely with clinical staff to keep the day running seamlessly

About you

• Flexibility and reliability to work early morning, day and evening shifts across our 6am to 10pm operating hours, Monday to Friday
• A warm, calm and professional manner, especially with patients who may be anxious or unwell
• Strong attention to detail and confidence with computer systems
• Great communication skills and a genuine team-player attitude
