Job summary

Lumus Imaging is seeking a friendly, organised receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients at our Campbelltown clinic. You will welcome arrivals, manage appointments, and handle billing for Medicare, DVA and private patients.

In this role you’ll support smooth clinic operations, maintain patient records, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure a warm, efficient patient experience. Prior reception or customer service in a medical setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in reception or customer service.
• A warm, calm and professional manner, especially with patients who may be anxious or unwell.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence with computer systems.
• Great communication skills and a genuine team-player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and managing arrivals with warmth and efficiency.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments across multiple imaging modalities.
• Processing Medicare, DVA and private billing accurately.
• Handling phone and email enquiries from patients and referrers.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting smooth clinic flow.
• Working closely with clinical staff to keep the day running seamlessly.

About the role
