Job summary

Hargreaves St Medical Practice is seeking a friendly, reliable casual receptionist to join our front-desk team for weekend rosters. The role is ideal for someone seeking flexible weekend work in a busy, non-corporate local practice.

You will greet patients, manage a multi-line phone system, book and adjust appointments, and handle billing with Medicare, DVA, HICAPS and private charges. Full training and ongoing admin support are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous reception or customer service experience — medical reception highly regarded, but not essential.
• A calm, friendly and professional phone manner.
• Comfortable working independently during weekend shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Availability every Saturday and Sunday.
• Familiarity with Best Practice software is an advantage, though full training is provided.
• Friendly, non-corporate, well-established local practice.
• Full training and support from an experienced admin team.
