  • Support patient admissions and discharge processes.
  • Process billing, payments and receipting accurately.
  • Maintain confidential patient records and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to clinicians and allied health professionals.
  • Manage referrals and new patient administration.
  • Liaise with referrers, specialists and external healthcare providers.
  • Support day-to-day reception operations and quality improvement initiatives.

About the Role

Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding front-of-house customer service and administrative support within a specialist oncology-focused treatment centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients, families and visitors with warmth, professionalism and compassion

About You To be successful, you will bring:
  • Previous reception, medical administration or customer service experience

  • Confidence using practice management systems and Microsoft Office
  • A professional, empathetic and patient-centred approach
  • The ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion
  • A collaborative and positive attitude

Previous experience within oncology, specialist healthcare, medical reception, allied health or private practice environments will be highly regarded.
