I-MED Radiology is seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to support our clinical team and help deliver outstanding patient care throughout the imaging journey. This role is ideal for current Radiography students looking to gain valuable hands-on experience within a leading diagnostic imaging network.

You will assist Radiographers with X-ray, CT, MRI and other imaging examinations, prepare patients, and help maintain high standards of comfort and safety.

• Current Radiography students looking to gain valuable clinical experience.

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
• Previous healthcare or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.

We are happy to accommodate a start date best suited to the successful candidate.

The role is available on a part-time or casual basis, reporting to the Chief Radiographer, with shifts available Monday to Friday between 8am–5pm, with the potential for Saturday shifts.

Role Overview:

As a Medical Imaging Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring patients receive exceptional care throughout their imaging journey.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Radiographers with X-ray, CT, MRI and other imaging examinations, while providing high-quality patient care.
• Preparing patients for their examinations and ensuring their comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Supporting Radiologists and technical staff with procedures and day-to-day clinic operations.
• Collaborating with clerical staff, Radiographers and Radiologists to deliver a seamless patient experience.
