Job summary

I-MED Radiology Network is seeking an MRI Radiographer to join our ACT team, working across Woden, Deakin, Tuggeranong and Belconnen clinics. You’ll gain experience on Siemens and Philips MRI systems and deliver high-quality imaging with excellent patient care.

The role suits both experienced radiographers and those early in their MRI career, with opportunities to broaden skills in a supported, networked environment across four ACT locations.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Medical Imaging / Diagnostic Radiography.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Current ACT Radiation Licence, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Some previous MRI experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations across ACT clinics.
• Work with Siemens and Philips MRI systems.
• Provide safe, professional and compassionate patient care.
• Collaborate with Radiologists, Radiographers and wider clinical team.
• Maintain imaging quality, safety and clinical practice.
• Develop MRI knowledge and technical capability.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative ACT-wide team.

Education

Qualifications in Medical Imaging / Diagnostic Radiography

Current AHPRA registration

Current ACT Radiation Licence or eligible

The opportunity Working across our ACT network, you'll perform high-quality MRI examinations while providing an excellent standard of patient care.

You’ll gain exposure to both Siemens and Philips MRI systems, giving you the opportunity to develop your experience across different technology, workflows and clinical environments.

Our weekday operating hours range from 7:30am to 10:00pm Monday to Friday, with shifts rostered across these hours. Weekend work is available as overtime by agreement, providing additional earning opportunities for those who want them.

For Radiographers still developing their MRI experience, this role provides an excellent environment to continue building your technical capability and confidence while working alongside experienced imaging professionals.

What we're looking for

We're interested in speaking with Radiographers at different stages of their MRI career.

You may already be an experienced MRI Radiographer, or you may have gained your initial MRI experience and be looking for an opportunity where you can continue developing your skills.

You'll bring:

• Relevant qualifications in Medical Imaging / Diagnostic Radiography
• Current AHPRA registration
• Current ACT Radiation Licence, or eligibility to obtain one
• Some previous MRI experience
• A strong commitment to patient care and quality imaging
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative and adaptable approach to working across different clinics and teams

Experience with Siemens and/or Philips MRI systems would be advantageous, but you don't need to have worked across both to be considered.
