Job summary

I-MED Radiology Network is seeking a Casual Radiographer to support clinics across Sydney's Inner West, including Newtown, Drummoyne, and surrounding suburbs. You’ll perform general radiography and CT where appropriate, working with experienced teams to deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical environments.

Casual shifts typically run 8:00am–5:00pm, with flexibility to cover multiple Inner West locations.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Medical Imaging / Diagnostic Radiography.
• Current AHPRA registration is mandatory.
• NSW EPA Radiation Licence is required for radiography practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality general radiography examinations across clinics.
• Undertake CT examinations where trained and competent.
• Provide safe, professional and compassionate patient care.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and clinical teams to ensure efficient workflows.
• Maintain high standards of image quality, radiation safety and clinical practice.
• Support the smooth operation of Inner West clinics.

The opportunity

As part of our Inner West network, you'll provide casual Radiography support across our clinics, working alongside experienced Radiographers, Radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

You’ll primarily perform general X-ray examinations, with opportunities to utilise your CT skills depending on your experience and the requirements of each clinic.

Our clinics operate with a range of Siemens and GE CT equipment, and for suitably experienced Radiographers, there may also be opportunities to work with CT Coronary Angiography (CTCA) at our Newtown clinic.

Typical working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, with shifts offered according to operational requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Performing high-quality general Radiography examinations

• Undertaking CT examinations where appropriately trained and experienced

• Providing safe, professional and compassionate patient care

• Working collaboratively with Radiologists, Radiographers and the wider clinical team

• Maintaining high standards of image quality, radiation safety and clinical practice

• Supporting the smooth operation of our Inner West clinics

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a reliable and adaptable Radiographer who enjoys working across different clinical environments and can confidently contribute to our teams.

You’ll bring:

• Relevant qualifications in Medical Imaging / Diagnostic Radiography

• Current AHPRA registration

• Current NSW EPA Radiation Licence

• Confidence in performing general Radiography examinations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Flexibility to work across multiple Inner West clinic locations

CT experience would be highly regarded but is not essential.
