Job summary
Evolve Scientific Recruitment in Sydney is seeking a Service Engineer to join a global medical device manufacturer. You will investigate customer complaints, perform RCA, prepare technical reports, and support installation activities across electromechanical devices.
The role suits engineers from service, technical support or manufacturing backgrounds. You will develop training materials, liaise with quality and engineering teams, and contribute to training initiatives while delivering
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical or Electronics.
- Experience as Service/Technical Support/Manufacturing Engineer in regulated environments.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and fault-finding with electromechanical devices.
- Experience with device assembly and use of hand tools.
Responsibilities
- Investigate customer complaints and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Prepare technical reports, documentation and work instructions.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electromechanical medical devices.
- Support installation activities and escalated field service issues.
- Conduct returned product investigations and technical assessments.
- Liaise with Service, Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
- Develop training materials and support technical training initiatives.
- Assist with customer responses and resolution of complex technical issues.
