Job summary

Heng & Hurst seeks a Medical Manager in Diabetes Technology to lead Medical Affairs for the ANZ region and shape strategy, education, and adoption of insulin pump therapies.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will drive governance, mentor Clinical Specialists and coordinate medical reviews, partnering with regulatory and cross‑functional teams to accelerate safe access to breakthrough therapies.

Qualifications

• Significant Medical Affairs leadership experience in pharma and/or medical devices; diabetes experience prioritized.
• Demonstrated success in medical review/approval, HCP education and KOL engagement.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration, translating clinical evidence into practical field enablement.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills with a patient‑first mindset.
• Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or related field; PV oversight is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Medical Affairs function across ANZ, setting strategy and governance.
• Inspire and mentor a team of Clinical Specialists and oversee outsourced functions.
• Oversee medical review and approvals for scientific and promotional materials to ensure compliance.
• Create and deliver medical content and education for HCPs and patient programs.
• Provide strategic clinical input to cross‑functional teams to inform product strategy and adoption.
• Build and nurture KOL and institutional networks to strengthen scientific reputation.
• Partner with regulatory stakeholders for compliant operations and timely medical responses.
• Maintain robust medical documentation, SOPs and training for audit-readiness.
