Job summary

Tech Recruit is assisting an international medical technology company to fill a Business Development Manager role in Sydney, Australia (home-based). You will lead market entry, build a Australian distribution network, and shape go-to-market strategies for diabetes care products.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in new market development within healthcare, strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to travel for customer meetings and industry events.

Qualifications

Proven experience in business development and strategic partnerships in medical devices or healthcare.
Strong record of developing new markets and building commercial operations from the ground up.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Based in Sydney and willing to travel for meetings and events.

Responsibilities

Lead business development activities across Australia and establish new commercial opportunities.
Develop and implement market entry and growth strategies for diabetes care products.
Identify and engage potential distributors, hospitals, clinics, and strategic partners.
Build a network of endocrinologists, diabetes educators, and other healthcare professionals.
Conduct market research, pricing analysis, and competitive intelligence.
Lead negotiations and new business development initiatives with partners.
Support product launches, local education, and promotional activities.
Report market progress to international headquarters and adjust priorities.
