Cricket Victoria is seeking a Media & Communications Specialist to tell the stories of Victorian cricket. You will shape how the sport is seen, manage media relations, and drive engaging digital content for supporters and partners.
Working with the State Men’s and Women’s teams, you’ll develop plans, lead social channels, and help grow profiles of players, pathways, and the broader cricket community.
From a debut to remember to the work behind a winning season, Victorian cricket is full of stories worth sharing.
We’re looking for an experienced communications professional who can find those stories, build strong media relationships and create content that connects people with our teams.
Working directly with the Victorian State Men’s and Women’s teams, you’ll help grow their profile and bring supporters closer to the players and personalities behind the performances. You’ll also showcase our emerging talent, Pathway programs and the wider work of Cricket Victoria in the community.
Combining media relations with hands‑on digital storytelling, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how Victorian cricket is seen and celebrated.
You have an eye for a story and know how to get it seen. Whether you’re pitching to a journalist, speaking with a player or creating match‑day content, you’re confident, curious and clear in your approach.
You build trust easily, use sound judgement and can balance a planned content calendar with the opportunities that live sport brings.
Based at Junction Oval in St Kilda, you’ll work close to the action, with direct access to our State teams and the opportunity to develop stories that go beyond the scorecard.
There’s scope to bring your ideas, build your media network and see your work make an impact through coverage that reaches new audiences and content that keeps supporters connected.
If you love finding a good story and making it count, we’d love to hear from you.
