Job summary

SwarmFarm Robotics is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to ensure the performance, reliability, and quality of our autonomous farming robots. You will work hands-on with lidars, cameras, GPS units, embedded systems and collaborate with software and robotics teams to integrate, test, troubleshoot, and improve the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or trade experience in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on skills in wiring electronics and repairing hydraulic issues.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes or multimeters and test equipment.
• Ability to work in outdoor field environments, including farms, with field testing and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and integrate hardware systems including lidars, cameras, GPS units, and embedded devices.
• Collaborate with development, robotics, and partners to ensure seamless hardware/software integration.
• Commission SwarmConnect products and design reliable test setups across mechanical, electrical, and software layers.
• Conduct field testing on commercial farms and collect high-quality data for improvements.
• Troubleshoot issues across mechanical, electrical, and software domains and provide actionable feedback.
