Job summary

Employ Global is seeking an early career Field Application Engineer to test and support next‑generation smart farm machines in Western Australia or New South Wales. In this hands‑on role you will work directly with field equipment, diagnose issues, and relay clear feedback to engineering teams.

You will travel regularly to farms and test sites within your region, collaborating with international colleagues and gaining experience across mechanical, electrical, software, and machine vision domains.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering or technical degree required.
• Experience with machinery, robotics, or field testing.
• Methodical troubleshooting across mechanical/electrical/software.
• Ability to travel regularly to farms and test sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out hardware, software, and machine vision tests on agricultural machinery.
• Set up and calibrate testing equipment, collect field data, and document results.
• Investigate electrical, mechanical, and software issues with senior engineers.
• Communicate findings to product, agronomy, and engineering teams.
• Contribute to troubleshooting notes and user guides.
