Job summary

DuBois Chemicals Australia in Melbourne is seeking a Mechanical Technician (Sales & Soap Analyst) to drive sales and service customers on the road while ensuring equipment performance at client sites.

You will combine a technical/mechanical aptitude with strong customer service, with in-house training and travel across local and interstate sites. A permanent full-time role with a competitive salary is on offer.

• Identify & Develop Sales Opportunities: Drive sales with existing and new customers.

• Product knowledge: Ensure equipment is operating correctly at customer site and understand current offerings.
• Reporting: Provide accurate site evaluation on equipment including reporting and ongoing analysis of soap performance.
• Fault finding: Testing to determine that our products are performing to their optimum.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, sales driven, customer centric individual with a technical or mechanical aptitude. You will become part of our highly regarded Customer Calibrations Team within Australia’s leading automated car wash business. This is an on the road role with opportunity for local and interstate travel. Full in-house training and ongoing support provided. You will be guided and trained on your journey by the best in the industry.

Duties include:

• Identify & Develop Sales Opportunities:Drive sales with existing and new customers
• Build & Maintain Client Relationships: Provide ongoing customer support and relationship building, understand the customers’ needs and provide solutions
• Product knowledge:Ensure equipment is operating correctly at customer site. Develop an understanding of current offerings as well as any upcoming product innovations and effectively communicate their benefits to customers
• Reporting:Provide accurate site evaluation on equipment including reporting and ongoing analysis of soap performance
• Fault finding:Testingto determine that our products are performing to their optimum
