Job summary

Wilmar Sugar Australia Limited is seeking a skilled tradesperson to join the Proserpine Mill maintenance team. You will maintain, repair and overhaul mill equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns and carry out preventative maintenance in a safe, collaborative environment.

This permanent full‑time day position offers overtime, career development and a strong safety culture in the Whitsundays region. Required: Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent, Mechanical Fitter / Fitter &

Qualifications

• Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent.
• Trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner.
• Current manual driver's licence.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Confined Space, Working at Heights and additional trade tickets are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and overhaul mill equipment.
