Job summary

Gold Fields is seeking an experienced Coordinator: Projects (Mechanical) to support delivery of capital and sustaining projects at Granny Smith Gold Mine in Western Australia. You will coordinate design, execution, and implementation of mechanical components, ensuring safe and efficient delivery to high technical standards.

Collaborate with site stakeholders, contractors, and project teams to deliver reliable mechanical systems while maintaining compliance with Australian Standards and site

Qualifications

• Significant experience in mining operations and project delivery.
• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Boilermaking or related mechanical discipline (S26).
• Current WA WHS Statutory Supervisors certificate (S26) is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of mechanical capital and sustaining projects across processing, underground, and surface operations.
• Provide technical oversight of mechanical designs, installations, plant upgrades, and commissioning activities.
• Manage mechanical contractors, consultants, and vendors to deliver high-quality project outcomes with safety and performance.
• Develop and monitor project scopes, schedules, budgets, procurement activities, and resource requirements.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and Gold Fields standards.
