Job summary

Coregas is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician for our Yennora site in Sydney. You will coordinate scheduled maintenance, diagnose faults and support maintenance systems, driving safe, compliant operations across our gas processing facility.

The role requires trade qualifications and at least 3 years of mechanical experience in the gas or related industries. The successful candidate will contribute to projects, record keeping, and safety compliance while supporting plant operations.

• Ability to coordinate scheduled maintenance and support maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all allocated scheduled maintenance for the Yennora facility.
• Diagnose equipment faults and perform operational maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain maintenance logs and report faults, incidents and urgent repairs.
• Act as Systems Administrator for the maintenance management system.
• Conduct risk assessments and obtain sign-off for activities.
• Coordinate inspection and maintenance by external contractors.
• Maintain shutdown management procedures for scheduled work.
• Provide technical support and project management support across site projects.
