Job summary

Shell is seeking Mechanical Technicians in Queensland to execute preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on LNG-related mechanical systems. You will ensure safe, reliable operation by completing inspections, repairs and equipment handovers in line with procedures and work controls.

You will support shutdowns and major maintenance events, while keeping accurate records in CMMS and adhering to Control of Work requirements.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification.
• Experience in industrial mechanical maintenance (LNG/oil & gas favorable).
• Competence with permit-to-work systems, isolations, JHA/JSA and safe work practices.
• Experience with rotating equipment, valves, pumps, and pressure systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow Shell HSSE standards and Life Saving Rules.
• Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance.
• Inspect, diagnose, repair and test mechanical equipment to OEM specs.
• Record maintenance data in CMMS and ensure accurate handovers.
