Job summary

Multigate Medical Products Pty Ltd seeks an experienced Operations Maintenance Electrician for our new state-of-the-art Yennora facility. You will ensure safe, reliable operation of electrical systems and automated handling equipment, diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Maintenance electrician experience, ideally in automated warehouse, manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Practical knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, motors, VSDs, safety circuits, relays and control systems.
• Ability to read schematics, trace faults and identify root causes.
• Strong understanding of Lock out Tag out procedures and electrical safety requirements.
• Problem solving aptitude and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance and diagnose faults.
• Support automated warehouse systems and ensure safety compliance.
• Inspect, test, repair and replace conveyor motors, sensors, PE cells and drives.
• Maintain electrical panels, switch boards and emergency stops.
• Document service history and communicate outstanding faults and risks.
• Collaborate with fitters, operators, engineers and electricians.

Job description

As a result of our growth, we are seeking an experienced Operations Maintenance Electrician to join our team based in our new state of the art location in Yennora. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and automated materials handling equipment.

About the Role

• Perform preventative and correct maintenance, diagnose electrical faults and respond to breakdowns
• Support the ongoing performance of automated warehouse systems while ensuring compliance with electrical and workplace safety requirements
• Inspect, test, repair and replace electrical components including conveyor motors, sensors, PE cells, drives and control panels
• Maintaining switch boards, electrical panels and emergency stops
• Ensure electrical test and tagging of leads complies with company and industry standards.
• Clearly document service history and communicate outstanding faults, risks and maintenance activities
• Work in collaboration with mechanical fitters, operators, engineers, supervisors and other electricians

Qualifications & Experience

• Maintenance electrician experience, ideally in an automated warehouse, manufacturing or industrial environment
• Practical knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, motors, VSDs, safety circuits, relays and industrial control systems
• Skills in reading schematics, tracing electrical faults, interpreting symptoms and identifying root causes
• Strong understanding of Lock out Tag out procedures, electrical safety requirements, permits and site rules
• Aptitude for problem solving
