Job summary

TRS Resourcing is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for a client in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This hands-on role focuses on maintenance, fault finding and repair of quarry and heavy industrial equipment, with some fabrication and machining involved.

The role is 60% workshop based with occasional site work and travel, and offers exposure to drawings and specifications in a diverse heavy industry environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mechanical Fitter in quarry/mining or heavy industrial environments.
• Hands-on maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to work 60% in workshop with some site work and occasional travel.

Job description

TRS Resourcing is currently seeking experienced three Mechanical Fitters on behalf of our client in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

We are looking for mechanically minded tradespeople with strong maintenance experience within quarry, sand, mining or similar heavy industrial environments. This is a hands‑on role suited to Fitters who are comfortable fault‑finding, repairing equipment and getting involved in fabrication and machining when required. This is a 60% workshop based position with some site work involved.
