Job summary

Mader Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Designer to lead design and development of mechanical systems for remote, multi-disciplinary projects. The role spans office and site activities with potential remote work where appropriate, contributing to water management infrastructure and slurry piping initiatives.

You will coordinate with engineers, site teams and clients, prepare GA drawings and PIDs, and mentor junior engineers while driving design-for-manufacture concepts and digital

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years in mechanical engineering roles (OEM, fabrication or piping).
• Proficiency in CAD software: AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks.

• Prepare construction documentation, GA drawings, MTOs, PIDs and isometric views.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer / Designer with experience in remote and multi-disciplinary projects. The role covers design, development and coordination of mechanical systems for diverse projects, including water management infrastructure, slurry piping, and heavy industrial environments. The position involves both office and site-related activities, with flexibility for remote work where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of mechanical systems across multi-disciplinary projects
• Prepare construction documentation, GA drawings, MTOs, PIDs and isometric views
• Coordinate with engineers, site teams and clients to ensure design integrity and regulatory compliance

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5–10 years of mechanical engineering experience in product OEM, fabrication or piping environments
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks or equivalent)
• Knowledge of piping design codes (e.g., AS4041, ASME B31.3 / B31.4) and design-for-manufacture principles
• Strong communication and client-management skills
• Experience with remote work environments and cross-functional teams
