Job summary

Unitywater is offering a permanent full-time role based in Maroochydore, Queensland. You will maintain and improve water assets, supporting mechanical and electrical teams while implementing robust maintenance processes for safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates will have a Mechanical Fitter qualification, a restricted electrical licence (or willingness to obtain) and MR licence (or willingness to obtain). We value flexibility, safety, and a collaborative culture at Unitywater.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance in water industry is advantageous.
• Mechanical Fitter trade qualification is required.
• Willingness to obtain MR Class Driver Licence and restricted electrical licence is expected.

About the role:

We have a permanent full-time position on offer based out of our Maroochydore office. Servicing the Sunshine Coast region, you will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement work on Unitywater’s assets. This includes assisting the Mechanical and Electrical Unit Leaders by proactively implementing processes, procedures and systems in the delivery of maintenance work on assets.

• Experience and knowledge of mechanical maintenance trade activities (water industry experience is an advantage but not essential).
• Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.
• Restricted electrical licence or willingness to obtain
• MR Class Driver License or willingness to obtain (we’ll support you to do this).
• Proficient with MS Outlook and ability to use maintenance management systems.
