Job summary

Unitywater invites applications for a permanent full-time role based in Maroochydore. You will maintain and improve Unitywater assets on the Sunshine Coast, supporting the Mechanical and Electrical Unit Leaders by implementing processes and systems for maintenance work.

The role emphasizes safety, customer outcomes and collaborative problem-solving, with opportunities for development and cross-training within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of mechanical maintenance trade activities.
• Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.
• Restricted electrical licence or willingness to obtain.
• MR Class Driver Licence or willingness to obtain (we’ll support you to do this).
• Proficient with MS Outlook and ability to use maintenance management systems.

Job description

About the role:

We have a permanent full-time position on offer based out of our Maroochydore office. Servicing the Sunshine Coast region, you will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement work on Unitywater’s assets. This includes assisting the Mechanical and Electrical Unit Leaders by proactively implementing processes, procedures and systems in the delivery of maintenance work on assets.

About you:

• A strong commitment to personal and team safety.
• A strong interest in achieving great outcomes for our customers and our team.
• Experience and knowledge of mechanical maintenance trade activities (water industry experience is an advantage but not essential).
• Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.
• Restricted electrical licence or willingness to obtain
• MR Class Driver License or willingness to obtain (we’ll support you to do this).
• Proficient with MS Outlook and ability to use maintenance management systems.
