Inghams Chickens is seeking a Maintenance Mechanical Fitter to join the Further Processing Site in Lisarow, NSW. The role involves hands-on maintenance and repair of equipment to keep production running smoothly.

The position is full-time with a 5x8 hour shift (05:00 AM - 1:00 PM), Monday to Friday. Onsite parking, employee benefits, and a strong safety-first culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification is essential.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing or food processing environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure reliability and safety.
• Assist with plant upgrades, installations, and modifications.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts used.
• Follow workplace health and safety standards at all times.

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Mechanical Fitter to join our Further Processing Site in Lisarow. In this hands‑on role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.

We currently have a full‑time position available: the shift will be 5x8 hour shifts 05:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Monday to Friday
