Job summary

Ellico Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Field Service Coordinator to support our Bowen Basin operations from Paget. You will coordinate day-to-day field service activities, work with Workforce Planning to schedule resources, and maintain strong client relationships across sites.

The role requires a recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate, practical field service experience, and a proactive, organised approach in a fast-paced mining environment.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Mechanical Trade Certificate.
• Proven experience in field service coordination or similar role within engineering, maintenance, or industrial services.
• Mechanical experience and understanding of equipment maintenance and field service environments.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients, employees and site representatives.
• Experience in mining/resources industry, especially across Bowen Basin operations, is highly regarded.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the wider team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in records and documentation.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel weekly to client sites.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with company, client and industry requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day mechanical field service operations.

• Communicate with clients regarding personnel, site requirements and service delivery.
• Liaise between field personnel, clients and Ellico team for daily operations.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new field service personnel.
• Prepare and maintain job documentation and site requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of field service activities and personnel needs.
• Coordinate actions based on upcoming client and workforce requirements.
• Conduct client and site visits across the Bowen Basin.
• Build strong relationships with clients, employees, subcontractors and site reps.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges with the wider team.
• Ensure safety and compliance across company, client and site requirements.

Job description

Ellico Group is looking for an experienced and motivated Mechanical Field Service Coordinator to join our team in Paget.

Working closely with our Operations and Workforce Planning teams, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Mechanical division, field-based personnel and clients across the Bowen Basin.

You’ll be an important link between our people, our clients and our internal team, helping ensure our day-to-day field service operations are well coordinated, responsive and running smoothly.

This is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys working with people, managing multiple priorities and taking ownership of their responsibilities. No two days are quite the same, so we’re looking for someone who is adaptable, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating the day-to-day requirements of our mechanical field service operations

• Working closely with our Workforce Planner on scheduling, rostering and upcoming workforce requirements

• Communicating regularly with clients regarding personnel, site requirements and service delivery

• Liaising between field personnel, clients and the Ellico team to support day-to-day operational requirements

• Supporting recruitment requirements within the Mechanical division and assisting with candidate progression

• Supporting the onboarding and mobilisation of new field service personnel

• Preparing and maintaining job documentation, work orders and site requirements

• Maintaining accurate records of field service activities and personnel requirements

• Keeping across upcoming client and workforce requirements and coordinating required actions

• Conducting regular client and site visits across the Bowen Basin

• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, employees, subcontractors and site representatives

• Working with the wider team to identify and resolve operational challenges

• Ensuring company, client and site safety and compliance requirements are maintained

We’re looking for someone who brings a great combination of trade experience, initiative and a positive approach to their work.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate.

You’ll ideally bring:

• A recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate (mandatory)

• Proven experience in field service coordination or a similar role within engineering, maintenance or industrial services

• Practical mechanical experience and a strong understanding of equipment maintenance and field service environments

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• A proactive and self-motivated approach to your work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service focus

• The ability to build positive working relationships with clients, employees and site representatives

• Experience within the mining and resources industry, particularly across Bowen Basin operations, is highly regarded

• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team

• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to respond effectively to operational challenges

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation

• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to client sites on a weekly basis

• A strong commitment to safety and compliance with company, client and industry requirements
