Job summary

Ezyquip Hire in Wacol seeks a committed Service Coordinator to join our busy service operations. You will work closely with diesel mechanics, parts suppliers and customers to keep our fleet moving and ready for jobs.

In this permanent full-time position, you will coordinate service activities, source parts, manage schedules and help ensure timely job completion. This role requires strong communication, organisation, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Service Coordinator role or similar maintenance planning function.
• Knowledge of heavy vehicle or mobile plant maintenance processes.

Keep Things Moving

Based in Wacol, this role sits at the centre of our service operations. Working closely with diesel mechanics, parts suppliers, customers and operational teams, you'll coordinate maintenance activities, source parts, manage service schedules and help ensure our fleet is ready when customers need it. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Diesel Mechanic looking to transition off the tools and into a coordination role, where your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills will continue to play a key part in keeping our fleet moving.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinate and schedule service, repair and maintenance activities.
• Support diesel mechanics by ensuring job information, parts and equipment requirements are organised and available.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and subcontractors regarding service bookings, parts and job progress.
• Raise purchase orders, order parts and assist with inventory control.
• Manage job documentation, WIP updates, invoicing support and job close-out processes.
• Provide general administrative support, maintain accurate records and assist with reporting activities.

About You

You are an experienced Service Coordinator, Parts Interpreter, Diesel Mechanic or maintenance professional who understands the importance of keeping equipment working safely and efficiently. You can confidently communicate with mechanics, suppliers and customers, and have the organisational skills to keep multiple jobs moving at once.

You’ll bring:

• Previous experience in a Service Coordinator, Parts Interpreter, Diesel Mechanic or maintenance planning role.
• A sound understanding of heavy vehicle, mobile plant or equipment maintenance.Experience sourcing and ordering parts, interpreting parts requirements and coordinating repairs.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience using maintenance management, ERP or job management systems (desirable).
