Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Naval Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Capacity to work holistically on complex mechanical systems and structures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support plans and specifications for new designs or derivatives of XL‑AUVs.
• Create detailed mechanical designs, prototypes and builds of complex structures.
• Perform simulation/analysis including modal/spectral response of designs.
• Ensure designs meet maritime standards and regulations.
• Inspect parts, sub-systems and vehicles to verify design specs.
