Job summary

Anduril Industries Australia is building unmanned subsurface systems to deliver long-endurance, multi-mission capabilities. We are seeking Mechanical Engineers to lead the design, analysis, and integration of software-enabled hardware for the XL-AUV program, coordinating across disciplines and durations of the product life-cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience as a Mechanical Engineer across complex systems.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and manage requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed plans and specifications for new designs or derivatives of XL-AUVs.
• Develop mechanical designs, prototypes and build complex structures.
• Simulate and analyze designs, including modal/spectral analysis.
• Ensure designs meet maritime standards and regulations.
• Serve as technical owner for structural components and assemblies.
• Inspect parts and subsystems to meet design specs.
• Design and implement integrated systems with reusable components.
