Job summary

REMONDIS Australia Pty Ltd in Jandakot, WA is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic for a permanent, full-time workshop role. Monday to Friday with overtime and weekend opportunities. Day shifts start at 7:00am. A sign-on bonus of up to $3,000 is available to eligible applicants.

You will diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems, perform servicing and preventative maintenance, and respond to breakdowns on-site. HR licence is required; forklift ticket is desirable.

Qualifications

• Qualified Diesel Mechanic with heavy vehicle specialization.
• Experience maintaining and repairing trucks, forklifts and plant equipment.
• HR driver's licence is required; forklift ticket is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel and cooling systems.
• Perform regular servicing, lubrication and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to breakdowns on-site and test engine performance.
• Rebuild engines and repair parts as needed using specialized tools.
