Job summary

REMONDIS AUSTRALIA is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel and cooling systems across trucks and plant equipment. You'll perform regular servicing, respond to breakdowns on-site and test engine performance using specialist tools.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing trucks, forklifts, and plant equipment.
• HR driver license is required.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, etc
• Work across our trucks and plant equipment such as Front, Rear & Hook Lift, and Tankers
• Performing regular servicing, lubrication, and preventative maintenance
• Responding to breakdowns on-site
• Testing engine performance, rebuilding engines and repairing parts when required
• Using specialized tools and mechanical equipment to solve problems
