Job summary

REMONDIS AUSTRALIA is seeking a diesel mechanic for our St Marys NSW team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel and cooling systems, and service trucks and plant equipment, while responding to breakdowns on-site and ensuring equipment runs at peak performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in the maintenance and repair of trucks, forklifts, and plant equipment.
• HR driver license is required.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, etc
• Work across our trucks and plant equipment such as Front, Rear & Hook Lift, and Tankers
• Perform regular servicing, lubrication, and preventative maintenance
• Respond to breakdowns on-site
• Test engine performance, rebuild engines and repair parts when required
• Use specialized tools and mechanical equipment to solve problems
