REMONDIS Australia Pty Ltd in Jandakot, WA is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic with supervisory experience for a permanent full-time role in our workshop. You will oversee fleet maintenance, coordinate resources and mentor a small mechanical team.

Day shifts, Monday to Friday, 7:00am starts, HR driver license required. We offer a safety-first environment, diverse hands-on work with trucks, forklifts and plant equipment, plus Fitness Passport membership.

Qualifications

• Qualified Diesel Mechanic with Heavy Vehicle specialization.
• Experience supervising mechanical teams in a workshop or fleet environment.
• Strong experience maintaining trucks, forklifts and plant equipment.
• Excellent communication, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• HR driver license is required.
• Strong understanding of safety, preventative maintenance and workshop practices.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, plan and coordinate fleet preventative maintenance, repairs and workshop resources to meet time, cost, quality, safety and environmental targets.
• Manage rosters and resource allocation and provide direction and feedback on workshop performance.
• Conduct shifts pre-starts covering safety, daily work schedules and other relevant business.
• Assist with complex mechanical and hydraulic problem-solving.
• Coordinate mechanical services with internal and external clients to ensure efficient delivery.
• Coordinate breakdown repairs and recovery as required.
