Job summary

MECCA Brands is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (2IC) for MECCA Double Bay, Sydney. This full-time role (Sun-Thu) supports the Store Manager in leading a high-performing team and delivering exceptional customer experiences in one of Sydney’s iconic prestige beauty destinations.

You’ll coach and develop staff, lead from the front, and drive store performance while embodying MECCA values and ensuring an outstanding customer journey at every touchpoint.

• Experience leading in large-format or high-volume retail environments.
• Strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop team members.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

As a Floor Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing the MECCA experience to life. You’ll:

• Partner closely with the Store Manager to lead and inspire the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Lead from the front, setting the standard for service, performance and culture on the shop floor.
• Coach, mentor and develop your team through regular feedback, training and on-the-floor leadership.
• Create an environment where team members feel motivated, empowered and inspired to do their best work.
• Engage your team to deliver against key business priorities and KPIs while living our MECCA values every day.
• Help build a culture where both our customers and our people feel genuinely cared for.

What does success look like?

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have previous leadership experience in a large-format or high-volume retail environment, with the ability to inspire and lead large teams.
• Bring a genuine passion for exceptional customer experiences and love creating those little moments of MECCA magic.
