Job summary

Vili’s Bakery is seeking experienced meat processors to join our team in Australia. You will prepare meat products for our range of pies and baked goods, using strong knife skills and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat preparation, cutting, dicing and mincing.
• Strong knife-sharpening skills.
• Solid understanding of QC and meat processing standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable to meet the demands of the job.
• Safety-first mindset with WHS compliance.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cut, dice, prepare and mince meats to recipe specs (no beef carcass breaking).
• Maintain sharp knives and safe knife-handling practices.
• Follow quality control and meat-processing standards; complete basic records.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS compliance at all times.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet schedules and minimise waste.
• Handle manual tasks safely (lifting, staging, sanitising, end-of-shift clean-down).
