Job summary

Join the Vili’s Family Bakery team in Adelaide. We’re seeking experienced meat processors with strong knife skills to prepare meat products and support our bakehouse operations. Casual or full-time opportunities are available with 5am starts, Monday–Friday.

You’ll follow food safety, hygiene and WHS standards, work with the production team to meet schedules and minimise waste, and you’ll have access to on-site parking and staff discounts on products. Clothing and tools are supplied.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat preparation, cutting, dicing and mincing.
• Solid understanding of QC and meat processing standards.
• Strong knife-sharpening skills and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Cut, dice, prepare and mince meats to recipe specs.
• Maintain sharp knives and safe handling practices.
• Follow QA, food safety and WHS standards at all times.
• Assist production to meet schedules and reduce waste.
• Handle manual tasks safely and support team objectives.

Right now, we’re looking for experienced meat processors with strong knife skills, to prepare our meat products, to help make top quality baked goods for our customers.

What you’ll do

• Cut, dice, prepare and mince meats to recipe specs (no beef carcass breaking)


• Maintain sharp knives and safe knife-handling practices


• Follow quality control and meat-processing standards; complete basic records


• Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS compliance at all times


• Collaborate with the production team to meet schedules and minimise waste


• Handle manual tasks safely (lifting, staging, sanitising, end-of-shift clean-down)

About you

• Available Monday–Friday from 5:00 am


• Experience in meat preparation, cutting, dicing and mincing


• Strong knife-sharpening skills


• Solid understanding of QC and meat processing standards


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


• Able to work independently and as part of a team


• Physically capable to meet the demands of the job


• Safety-first mindset with WHS compliance


• Thrive in a fast-paced environment


• Cert II or III in Meat Processing (advantageous, not essential)
