Vili's Bakery in South Australia is seeking a Night Shift Cook / Bakery Assistant for ongoing casual employment with the potential for permanency. The role involves hands-on preparation and cooking of pie fillings, following established recipes and schedules to ensure quality and consistency.

We welcome applicants with cooking or food production experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hands-on role such as cooking, food production, manufacturing, warehousing, labouring or trades.
• Experience as a cook, chef, baker or food production operator is highly regarded.
• Comfortable working night shift in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
• Physically capable of manual handling and being on your feet throughout the shift.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, cook and finish pie fillings in accordance with recipes and production requirements.
• Weigh, measure and prepare ingredients ready for cooking.
• Monitor cooking times, temperatures and quality standards.
• Complete quality and food safety checks throughout the production process.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with cleaning, housekeeping and basic equipment care.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily production targets.

We're currently seeking a Night Shift Cook / Bakery Assistant to join our team on an ongoing casual basis.

This is a hands‑on role responsible for preparing and cooking the fillings that go into the products Vili's is famous for. Working to established recipes, procedures and production schedules, you'll play an important role in delivering the quality and consistency our customers know and love.

Whether you have experience as a cook, chef, food production operator, labourer, machine operator or in another hands‑on role, we'd love to hear from you.

What you’ll do
