Job summary

Drakes Supermarkets is seeking a motivated Meat Department Lead to join our Ipswich store. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will manage a small team, create rosters, generate orders and oversee stocktakes to ensure fresh produce is available.

You must hold an Australian trade qualification in Butchery, demonstrate strong leadership, cost control and customer service, and actively drive merchandising. We offer on-the-job training, a 10% staff discount for you and your family, plus career

Qualifications

• Must hold an Australian trade qualification in Butchery.
• Proven ability to lead and coach a team.
• Experience in ordering and cost control.

About this opportunity:

We are currently looking for a motivated and hard working applicant, to join and lead the meat department.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for the management of a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more!
