Job summary

Drakes Supermarkets Rosewood store is seeking a motivated and hands-on butcher to lead the meat department. You will manage a small team, create rosters, generate orders, and conduct stock takes, ensuring freshness and quality across all products.

The role reports to the Store Manager and offers training, development, and opportunities within Australia's largest independent grocer. You will need an Australian trade qualification in butchery, strong leadership, and a customer‑focused approach to

Qualifications

• Must have Australian trade qualification in Butchery.
• Fresh food retail knowledge is preferred.

About this opportunity:

Our Rosewood store is currently looking for a motivated and hard working applicant, to join and lead the store's meat department.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more!

Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

• Possess an Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
