Job summary

Marymead CatholicCare Canberra & Goulburn is recruiting for a Youth & Family Case Management Service role. You will provide intensive outreach support to vulnerable children, young people and families experiencing complex challenges across the ACT.

The position emphasises independence within a small team, strong case management, and effective coordination with community services and schools. We seek a compassionate professional with relevant tertiary qualifications and at least 2 years’

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications with at least 2 years’ experience supporting children, young people and families with complex needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication, administration and IT skills.
• Understanding of relevant legislation, standards and frameworks including EEO, Work Health & Safety, privacy and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and within a small team while managing competing priorities.
• Demonstrated resilience, empathy, emotional intelligence and commitment to ethical practice and social equity.
• Current Driver Licence and a valid Working With Vulnerable People registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive, outreach-based support to children, young people and families with complex challenges.
• Deliver case management and service coordination with community organisations, government agencies and schools.
• Engage, advocate and refer for additional supports as needed.
• Maintain administrative tasks and time management to ensure timely service delivery.
• Collaborate with a small team to coordinate holistic, client-centred care.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding standards.
