Job summary

Brahman Commodities Group is an Australian owned grain trading business operating modern Kenworth B-double tippers across the Eastern Seaboard, mainly Southern NSW and Victoria. The successful applicant will work both independently and as part of a team, be punctual, reliable and well presented, with opportunities to travel during harvest season.

The role involves loading at our storage and delivering to feedlots, mills and ports, with a focus on servicing local growers and ensuring timely

Qualifications

• MC licence is compulsory and Road Ranger gearbox experience is essential.
• Tipper and mass management experience will be viewed favorably.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Applicants willing to learn on the job and undergo training are encouraged.
• RMS printout (≤3 months) and referees must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive one truck on the Eastern Seaboard, hauling grain and fertiliser to feedlots, ports and farms.
• Load from our storage facilities and deliver to Victorian and Southern NSW locations; travel during harvest as needed.
• Work independently or as part of a crew, maintaining punctuality and reliability.

Job description

Brahman Commodities Group is an Australian owned grain trading business running modern Kenworth B-double tippers across the Eastern Seaboard, predominately Southern NSW & Victoria. Due to recent growth we are looking for a professional, courteous, reliable and energetic driver to join our team.

The successful applicant will be required to work both individually and as part of a team, be punctual and reliable, well presented as well as motivated to work in a growing business. You will be required to work away from home in the truck during the week and on weekends rarely outside of harvest time. We can tailor your experience to suit requirements within reason.

Our work is a mix of loading out of our own storage in SNSW delivered to Victorian & SNSW feedlots, feed mills, container packers and ports as well as loading ex other bulk handler facilities and direct from farm.

There is a large fertiliser component of this job also, loading ex all southern ports & providers back to our own storage facility as well as direct to farm.

Over the harvest period, there is a focus on servicing our local growers to facilitate deliveries into our own storage. There may also be opportunities to travel further pending on driver expectations and seasonal conditions.

An MC licence is compulsory and ability to drive a Road Ranger gearbox is essential. Tipper and mass management experience will be looked on favourably. Applicants that are willing to learn on the job and undergo necessary training are still encouraged to apply. High levels of communication skills will be required.

Above award wages pending experience to be paid as well as all full time job benefits.

This is a one truck/one driver role with modern equipment on offer.

This position suits someone who lives in the Riverina or Murray area but not essential.

Must be able to provide RMS printout of no more than 3 months of age as well as contactable referees.
