Job summary

Linfox is hiring experienced B-double truck drivers for permanent roles delivering to stores and distribution centres around Brisbane. We offer day and afternoon shifts with potential overtime; typical start times are 5:00am or 3:00pm.

Qualifications

• Experience driving B-double vehicles.

• Drive to meet Linfox Safety Standards at all times.
• Ensure loads are restrained and compliant with regulations.
• Follow coupling/uncoupling procedures and daily prestart checks.
• Maintain strong communication with customers and operations.
• Adhere to Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation.

What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermodal have multiple full-time permanent opportunities for experienced B-double truck drivers to deliver products to stores and distribution centres within the Brisbane metro area. We currently have opportunities on day and afternoon shift with potential overtime, shift times are:

• Day shift: Monday - Friday commencing at 5:00am
• Afternoon shift: Monday - Friday commencing at 3:00pm

Key areas:

• Driving to the commitment of Linfox Safety Standards at all times
• Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
• Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
• Daily prestart checks and ensure loads are restrained appropriately
• Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles and extensive knowledge of road transport legislation
