Job summary

Linfox Intermodal in Brisbane is recruiting experienced B-double truck drivers for full-time roles delivering to stores and distribution centres within the Brisbane metro area. Day and afternoon shifts with potential overtime, starting at 5:00am or 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Applicants should hold a current MC Licence, have B-double experience, be familiar with local routes, and follow safety protocols and pre-start checks.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MC Licence.
• Experience driving B-double vehicles.
• Knowledge of Brisbane local and regional locations.
• Familiarity with pre-start protocols and safety checks.
• Strong work ethic, customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive B-double trucks to deliver to Brisbane stores and distribution centres.
• Maintain adherence to Linfox Safety Standards and Vision Zero principles.
• Comply with coupling/uncoupling procedures and load restraints.
• Conduct daily prestart checks and ensure loads are properly restrained.
• Apply Chain of Responsibility principles and comply with road transport laws.

What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermodal have multiple full-time permanent opportunities for experienced B-double truck drivers to deliver products to stores and distribution centres within the Brisbane metro area. We currently have opportunities on day and afternoon shift with potential overtime, shift times are:

• Day shift: Monday - Friday commencing at 5:00am
• Afternoon shift: Monday - Friday commencing at 3:00pm

Key areas:

• Driving to the commitment of Linfox Safety Standards at all times
• Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
• Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
• Daily prestart checks and ensure loads are restrained appropriately
• Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles and extensive knowledge of road transport legislation

• Current MC License is essential
• Prior transport experience driving B-double vehicles
